Songfacts
Louane (real name Anne Peichert) was born in Hénin-Beaumont, Northern France in 1996. She grew up with five siblings, four sisters and a brother. From an early age she was interested in music and participated in song contests. At 16, she reached the semi-final of the casting show The Voice, la plus belle voix. This made it possible for her to go on tour with her fellow semi-finalists. In 2014 she played the enthusiastic young singer Paula in the Èric Lartigau movie La Famille Bélier . This character won her the “César Award for Most Promising Actress”. Her debut album Chambre 12 was released on in 2015, to great success. The album as well as her single Avenir , lifted from the same, reached number one positions in the French charts and excellent chart positions in other countries (e. g. a number three position in Germany).

The original recording of the jazzinotes edition is the single version in which the piano is very important. In this regard it varies substantially from the radio edit. Another significant difference comparing the jazzinotes edition to the other available scores is that the piano is arranged very close to the original: In the intro and the verse it is transcribed note-for-note, in the chorus the bass line is integrated in the left hand and the synthesizer melodies in the right. Altogether the piano sounds very authentic while it is quite easy to play.
