Songfacts:

This song tells the age-old story: love, marriage, and obligation followed by a possible split-up. This world famous song originally comes from a musical entitled Whoopee!, premiered on Broadway in 1928. Since then, it has been interpreted by Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, Elton John, Dr. John, Norah Jones, and even by Michelle Pfeiffer in the film The Fabulous Baker Boys. It also appears in the Woody Allen film Everyone Says I Love You (performed by Tirome Gerome).

The jazzinotes version includes the - compared to the album version - longer intro of the movie version. Apart from that the film and the movie version are identical.
