You Look So Good To Me is part of the album »We Get Requests«, released 1965 at Verve. The lineup Oscar Peterson (piano), Ray Brown (double bass) and Ed Thipgen (drums) is one of the most successful trios in jazz history. It existed from 1958 to 1965 (the entry respectively exit of Ed Thipgen). You Look So Good To Me is a pearl out of this time.
The main reason why Clement Wells is an interesting composer: There is nearly no information about him. Nowadays this seems quite suspicious. Who knows more about him: Please contact us. The co-composer Seymour Lefco is interersting, too: He ist presumed to be a "jazz dentist". Apart from Oscar Peterson his patients were e.g. Harry Belafonte, George Shearing, Dizzy Gillespie und Gerry Mulligan...
